The TEN games will be trialled through 2009, and rolled out to kids groups around the world as resources permit, with a  launch in 2010.

TEN lends itself perfectly to partnership opportunities across private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Would you like to support TEN or get involved?

Do you live, work or have contacts with kids’ organizations in one of our target cities?
Do you work with kids aged around TEN and live anywhere in the world?

Do you have any video, images, words, music, stories or even links about cities that might be of use or interest to us in our media game prototype for kids? Email them in (address below) or post them on the fan page : www.facebook.com/thetenproject

Could you be one of our ‘featured experts’ and set “MISSIONS” for the kids? Or know anyone good for this?
Are you a games developer or a web programmer?
Do you have a great media creation tool for kids that could work with TEN?
Do you provide seed funding for new media startups or youth programs?
Do you want to become a TEN partner?

  1. Excellent project. I’m an alumnus from Carnegie Mellon University in PIttsburgh, PA. CMU created an Entertainment and Technology Center that develops gaming initiatives http://www.etc.cmu.edu/, especially those used to assist with conflict-resolution. One game, Peacemaker, lets contestants play as Israelis and as Palestinians. Pittsburgh hosted a gaming conference called The Future of Interactive Technology for Peace: http://www.etc.cmu.edu/peace2008/. It would be great to see them engage environmental concerns. CMU has HUGE resources, financial, personnel, and otherwise, and I’m sure they would be interested in partnering with you. Good luck, and please let me know if you’d like me to give you specific contacts from CMU.

    How is it going. I wanted t put a mention of TEN toward the new ABC 3.

    Is sending them to the website a good start?

    I was wondering how far away the game was to have a look?
